When HR Weekly readers and users of www.theHRSpecialist.com need employment law advice, they don’t look for just any old lawyer. They get in touch with a firm that specializes. Asked what they do when they need legal advice on an employment law issue:

  • 34% say they call a law firm they rely on for employment law expertise
  • 15% say they consult their own in-house legal counsel
  • 7% say they contact the attorney who handles all their day-to-day business law matters
  • 4% say it hasn’t come up yet, but if it did, they would start looking for an attorney.
